Primero School...A School of Distinction!

MISSION STATEMENT

The Primero RE-2 School District shall strive to provide a safe environment, for all students and staff and meaningful opportunities and innovative educational programs for all students so that they reach their learning potential, including that they meet or exceed state and district content standards, through partnerships between home, school and the community.

Dear Parent, Stakeholder and Primero Community Member,

As a valued partner in our school community, we are asking for your consideration in passing a continuation bond that will appear on the ballot in November 2016. This bond will extend our current revenue for approximately 5-7 years and allow our school to continue to make bold strides in our educational setting by renovating facilities, planning new consontruction, and upgrading technology to continue providing our students with a world-class learning environment.

The bond extension will allow us to maintain funding at NO additional cost to the taxpayer. If passed, the tax rate to community members will NOT increase, but remain stable through the entire bond period. Our school will be able to plan, renovate, upgrade, and create new construction based on imput from community members like you.

We need your input in planning and prioritizing projects for the upcoming Bond issue and are asking you to complete a brief survey by clicking the link above.

We are excited about the possiblities for our students that the passing of the bond continuation will allow us to create and continue on our mission to remain a School of Distinction. If you have questions about the process or would like to be more directly involved in planning, please contact the school at 719-868-2715.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Denille LePlatt, Elem Principal/Superintendent

Mrs. Heidi Dasko, Secondary Principal
