Coach Richard C. Arguello, 1977
The Board voted to dedicate the gym in honor of former teacher and coach, Richard C. Arguello, who died in a car accident on Highway 12 in the 1990s. The gymnasium will be renamed the "Richard C. Arguello Gymnasium" and a formal dedication ceremony will be held, with his surviving family members invited, in September 2008 once the main building's renovations are completed.

The Board hired personnel for extra-curricular positions and extra-duty pay
Adopting the 2008-2009 Calendar. If Construction ends as scheduled, the first day for staff will be September 2 and students will return September 8. If construction encounters delays, then the board approved two contingency calendars starting either September 15 or 22. All three calendars end classes on Thursday, May 28, however, the numbers of Fridays with classes increase as the start date gets later. There are 3 school days on Fridays with the September 8 start. There are 5 Fridays with the September 15 start and 9 Fridays with the September 22 start. This is a one-year only event due to the historic construction project at Primero. In 2009-2010, we should be able to return to a more typical calendar starting after Labor Day and ending by Memorial Day.
