Secondary Courses & Graduation Requirements
The District offers the following courses:
Math: Pre-algrebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus.
English: English and Reading/Writing 7 & 8, English 9, 10, 11 and 12, Speech, Senior Studies, and an English elective for high school students.
Science: Science 7, Science 8, Earth Science 9, Biology 10, and upper level electives in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Physics, and Anatomy.
Social Studies: Civics 7, Colorado History 8, Geography 9, World History 10, U.S. History 11, and Government 12.
Art: 7th & 8th Grade Elective, Art 9-12, and upper level electives.
Physical Education: Middle School PE, Health Education 9, and High School Conditioning.
Industrial Arts: Middle School elective, High School Woods and Welding
Spanish: Spanish 7th & 8th Grade; Spanish I & II
Business Education: Keyboarding 9, Tech Prep, Managing Resources 11, Electives, Yearbook
Post-secondary options: available online or through Trinidad State Junior College.
Graduation Requirements:
Complete 26 credits, including:

0.5 units of Keyboarding |

3 units of Science |
0.5 unit of Health |

4 units of Social Studies |
7 units of Electives (woods, speech/journalism, art, yearbook, American Literature, word processing, etc.) |

2 units of Spanish |
Each unit = 1 full year course. 0.5 unit = 1 semester course.
