A half hour lunch is positioned between 3rd and 4th periods. Passing time is 3 minutes. Each class is a little over an hour in length. A snack break is between 5th and 6th periods for 8 minutes.
1st Period begins at 7:50 AM and 7th Period ends at 4:05 PM. (Elementary students Grades PK-5 dismiss at 4:00.)
1st Period includes 10 minutes for school-wide silent, sustained reading.
Announcements are read at the beginning of 2nd hour.
6th Grade is self-contained with one teacher all day but is considered a middle school level class.
