Athletics and extra-curricular events are an important part of student life in the Primero S chool District. We currently offer 8-man football, girls volleyball, boys baseball, co-ed track-and-field, and girls and boys basketball. Cheerleading is offered for girls in grades 7-12. Athletics are offered for junior high and high school students.

Art, music and dramatic productions are also presented at various times throughout the school year. Currently, Primero Junior-Senior High School has an active Art Club. Karate is offered for all students.

Primero Junior-Senior High School is a member in good standing with the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA), which governs our athletic and activities eligibility policies.

Students who qualify may be nominated for membership in the National Honor Society in their Junior or Senior years. Primero School also has an active Student Council, student newspaper the Bulldog Times, and yearbook.
